Well Hawkeye my apology. I just assumed you were a guy who just shot deer because you could. We have some guys like that around here that shoot 4, 5 or more deer a year just because they have the tags for them. Then they have so much venison they are begging people to take it and they end up throwing it out because of freezer burn. But then they are the first to complain about not seeing deer where they used to hunt.
We also have farmers here that just shoot the deer for crop damage and let them lay. At least you're utilizing them and not wasting them.
