I use a wedge and clamp to get the proper angle if I even bother with sharpening the slicks. Replacement blades are relatively cheap for them. While the tricks are scary sharp and somewhat tough, they do get nicked up on rib bones. I do run the ferrule tip across a honing stone after a hit. And I have several practice blades for tuning and getting ready. So resharpening Trick blades really isn't much of a concern for me. Just too cheap to buy super sharp out of the pack replacements.
