There is a good case for the interstate and intrastate movement of deer or sperm for breeding to play a huge role in the spread of the disease, the scientists say the disease is spread by urine and saliva and bodily fluids and a captive herd is the perfect incubator for the disease. Those who are in the business, at least the ones here are saying the scientists are wrong, I will continue to believe the scientists until they are proven wrong, not just because someone who has lot of money to lose says so. Many states universities are working on the problem and I suspect it will not be long until they will have evidence that the breeders will not be able to argue away. There is a fairly new test now that can be used by taking a sample of a deer's tonsils while alive, I don't know how much it is used.
