There is a good case for the interstate and intrastate movement of deer or sperm for breeding to play a huge role in the spread of the disease, the scientists say the disease is spread by urine and saliva and bodily fluids and a captive herd is the perfect incubator for the disease. Those who are in the business, at least the ones here are saying the scientists are wrong, I will continue to believe the scientists until they are proven wrong, not just because someone who has lot of money to lose says so. Many states universities are working on the problem and I suspect it will not be long until they will have evidence that the breeders will not be able to argue away. There is a fairly new test now that can be used by taking a sample of a deer's tonsils while alive, I don't know how much it is used.
Yeah...Well how about you show that research showing CWD and sperm having a huge role! You babble so much it gets boring reading your words. SHOW THE PROOF!!!!
There are a dozen different vectors and deer farms are the only tested ones. There are many more vectors spreading it faster than tested deer farms.
You are right...Deer farmers are paying for the research by the scientists that you speak of. And this test will once and for all prove how clean and tested our whitetails are. Problem will be the wild deer will be spreading the crap like they are now and will still be untested.
This will just be a feather in the cap of high fence when they can prove that when hunters come hunt with them they are getting clean healthy Tested whitetail deer and god forbid if this ever jumps over to man you will ONLY be hunting high fence clean tested whitetails.
Or you will hang up your hat!
