Well in the past 5 months, I have got engaged, bought a house, and got married... So I haven't had a whole lot of time to be on here unfortunately. My house is just off of a State Forest in Southern Indiana and there is certainly no shortage of deer in the area! I am super excited about my property and house/barn, ect. I have seen 3 VERY large bucks roaming the area together! I put out a Trophy Rock on Saturday and Sunday evening I had two bucks right on top of it. I also put out some corn which to turkey and doe have been hitting on. I can't count how many turkey's are on the property out there but I wake up and have about 15 poult's roaming right outside my front window with probably 3-4 hens/jakes and when I went out to set out my trail camera's, I jumped up about 20-25 full-grown hens/jakes/toms from the weeds in my field! So a shortage of animals isn't an issue and hopefully never will be! But I'm excited to get deer and fall turkey seasons under way! Time to break out the ol' PSE and get her fine tuned for the booners this season!
