I'm glad you asked that Cam. I did not spear any flounder but someone caught one and a stingray off the pier at Goose Island in Texas. We caught trout,red fish and drum but I never saw one javalina or alligator. My brother showed up one day with a old tri-hull with an antique 35 hp motor and we had a great day three of us fishing. I saw an island with Whooping Crains and while we where out a school of dolphins (sharks?)crossed our path behind our boat. While I didn't get to get out hunting the weather was great and I'm going back to Texas next year to get my pig.
