I'd never heard of them before Cayugad. I just looked at their web site. I'm sure they're stable, but have a bit too much beam for comfortable paddling. And even their smallest 13' model is 120 lbs.

The big thing down this way are kayaks. Lots of guys are fishing the inside marshes in them these days.
