Default RE: What' s the New Hot Bow so far?

Martin has targeted the cro-magnon type of guy, and yes, that is definately working for them. It will also entice the adolescent boys club. (same thought patterns as the knuckle-draggers) Problem is, they never thought about the consequences to the sport itself, only the money they' ll make from the marketing. I have no issue with looking at scantily clad women myself, but I can do that by picking up an issue of Playboy or some other thing that strictly pertains to the male hormone " enticement syndrome" --mac tool calendar, Budweiser or Coors ad,(the twins!) stuff like that.

My issue here is that there are women and children trying to enjoy the sport as well---and I feel that " T&A" is not the way to be promoting our sport to those types of audiences who MAY want to participate themselves. Like I' ve stated before in a previous post about this subject--what' s next, Kid rock and his porn queens " lighting it up" Saturday night at Vegas?[] C' mon.

I don' t think we need this type of extremity to promote the sport of Archery, especially to FAMILIES and even more especially to CHILDREN, who are the future of our sport. While Martin has definately targeted and stirred the hormones of alot of guys with this junk, they at the same time put other thoughts into the wives, childrens' and future generations of our sports' minds also. Not to mention those families who know nothing of our sport to begin with but may have been thinking about giving it a try. Bottom line--money ain' t everything. The integrity of the sport itself should come first. JMHO. Pinwheel 12
