The calculators say even the 185gr is on the edge of stability in a 1-30. I shot one of my best 200 yard groups with a Lehigh 185gr DOA in a 1-30 or 1-28 45cal. It wasnt even a max load of BH209. Muzzle velocity was very likely less than 2300fps.
