Wow, never had a single problem like that from any of mine. My pistol mounted scopes see their fare share of abuse, especially the one on my .500 S&W mag. Never had one blow up. I also have 3 of the AR scope mounts and never had a problem with the threads pulling out or stripping. I rarely use an ATV. If I'm hunting back country it's usually hiking in on foot or horseback. Never had one fail from a saddle.
