Max--it is my impression that an essay is just a short story. It could be based on a real happening or just something made up. So, make something up, a hunting story, if you are into that. What is the teacher into? If he/she is not into guns and hunting then make up something else--he/she may grade you down if he/she doesn't like the subject. I will start you off---"My Aunt Elsie always wanted to go to the Grand Canyon, she and Uncle Herb saved up for several years to take a motor trip out west. They had an old pickup and were going to pull a short camper to keep motel costs down. Uncle Herb had new tires all around and a tank full of gas to start off with......." you take it from here, get them into scrapes and out of them until they get back home. Think of funny stuff. "Now Uncle Herb liked old rock tunes but Aunt Elsie only wanted to listen to the country music stations so they had to compromise. Every two hours they took turns, etc."
