Don't shoot long range anything here in the low lands of Virginia. But I do know that the NRA BPCR uses heavy lead bullets for their 1000 yd range shots. I know these are cartridges, but it isn't much different when we talk about ballistics. the Army uses a 220 gr bullet in their 300 Win Mag. sniper rifles. Larger bullets week to be the thing for longer distances. JMHO on what I've read over the years.
