Most definitely easier than fooling with the caps in the field with my big old sausage fingers. Partly why I have never liked "bolt action" ML'ers. Having to use a caper/decaper tool is just one more thing to go wrong, get lost, or forgotten on the bench. No way I can get those caps on with my fingers.
