Opening day I' m out for meat, so if its brown its down.

After that I' m looking for a buck. I' ve let several 4-6 point bucks walk by me this year. Although I haven' t shot a rack buck yet I' d like to hold out for something a little bigger.

Last week I saw 2 monsters on private land with no other hunters, 14+pts so I' m looking for them specifically now. But if a 8 or bigger walks by I' ll take him if the shot is right.

I think after shotgun season if I haven' t taken a buck by then I' ll start being less picky. But hey, it keeps me in the woods day after day so that can' t be a bad thing.
