Is there a black and white disk with numbers on it inside the hole when you screwed off the cap. If so, they are your adjustment, elevation on the top and windage on the side. On the disks it sould tell you how much change one click will make in elevation and windage at 100 yards. for example, 1 click= 1/4 inch @ 100 yards. So if you are at 25 yards it will take 4 clicks to move 1/4 inch. You adjust by using a screwdriver or a dime in the screw slot in the center of the disk. You will be ablr to feel the clicks, not hear them.
