With today's bows you no longer need to shoot 70#. I've been shooting 63# for a few years but I'd be perfectly happy shooting at 55#. At that weight with 80% let off you'd only be holding about 11#. You can hold that all day. You just have to be more selective in your shots as you would have the KE associated with the heavier draw.
