Don't you know it, LOL! The only moose hunt I've been on was to help my Wyoming buddy on an Idaho OIL Shiras tag he drew in 2007. We ended up with one that just broke 38", but he could have shot several better ones that were just too darn far from our DIY camp. Man, I thought the bull elk we shoot were big until that big sucker hit the ground and I walked up to it! John is going to draw his Wyoming Shiras tag next year and I'll go on that hunt too, but it will be on horseback with the same fellow that we're going with on our high country hunt for mulies this September. Knowing that we have horses for the real back breaking work should make it a very enjoyable hunt.
