Hey y'all! I'm new to the forum and just wanted to share and get opinions on a new Tikka T3 Hunter I picked up recently. I've been hunting since the late 70's and have not had many different rifles. Currently own Rem 30 06, Ruger M77 in 7mag and Marlin 30 30. Lately I've been using the Marlin 30 30 with great success. But I've had the urge for a 270 win for a long time and I've been very interested in the Tikka for the past 3 or so years (for the slick action, weight and trigger). I thought for sure I would get a T3 lite and was trying to decide on ss, fluted and camo variations offered. Yesterday I p/u a T3 Hunter and quickly realized I wouldn't sacrifice much in weight to get a wood stock (which I'd much prefer). I haven't shot it yet cause the Leupold VX3 I ordered first hasn't come from OP yet. Does anyone have the Hunter version or any Tikka they'd like to share their experiences with?

Btw: I paid $609 NIB from local sporting goods store on clearance sale.
