A .22 Magnum would work and be quieter,the .17 WSM or. .17 HMR would also be in that same Catagory as well as a .22 Hornet!

Using a Deer Rifle.....Wow that should wake up all the nearby Neighbors,draw in the Sheriff's Dept and scare off the rest of the Coyotes in the surround area too!
