Looking at a sweet deal on a Ruger M77 RSI in .308 Win........, rifle is 5-6 years old, never fired, never had a scope mounted. Really like the looks of the full length Mannlicher style stock (and the wood is awesome looking). Was wondering about the recoil/muzzle blast of the .308 in this short, lightweight rifle (18.5" barrel, 7 pounds with no scope)? Anyone got one of these or have any first-hand experience with the RSI? Sure seems to handle nice! Come on, talk me in or out of it!!! I' d take it in the north Georgia woods on occasion.
