I do most of my coyote hunting seated, but end up shooting at some from standing, and some sets I run prone. ALMOST all of my field shooting is supported in one way or another.
I've used a lot of different supports over the years, including store-bought and home-made shooting sticks, different mono-pods, harris biopods, bog pod tripod/rest, and most recently, Primos Trigger Stick Mono-pods, bipods, and tripods.
After trying out the Primos Trigger Sticks, until something revolutionary hits the market, I have no motivation to use anything else. The responsiveness for adjustment is second to none. I exclusively use the mono-pod for coyotes.
I do, however, keep a short (benchrest) harris knock-off bipod on my rifle to act as a kick-stand and keep my rifle out of the wet grass, mud, snow, whatever. I almost never shoot from a gun mounted bipod unless my set is designed to be prone, but it's nice to have the rifle ready at hand, and up off of the ground.
