I also use these if I am traveling extremely lite..................

They make tall sticks which I have as well if I expect to be shooting from a standing position, or the cover is so tall that short sticks will do me no good.

Very lite and compact (and deploy quickly) !!!

All a matter of personal preference and terrain.
