I saw this guy with my binoculars right after deer season ended and wanted to get a better view of him. There were not any decent trees around for a camera so I improvised and made a portable trail camera stand out of a sawhorse and dumped 100 pounds of corn and some apples in front of it.
He doesnt appear to be that old. His neck doesnt look all that big and neither does his body. He just doent look very filled out. This is SC so its not like hes been struggling through a harsh winter. If I plant a nice food plot in this spot during the spring and my farmer comes in and plants 60 acres of peanuts can he be even bigger come deer season?
