Default fun shooting day

It was unseasonably warm the last couple of days so I decided to do a bit of shooting with the .54. I ended up taking the old Lyman GPR

its been so long since I shot it that I decided to check and make sure it was still sighted in. Plus I reduced the powder charge from my normal 90 to 100 gr load to 70 gr.

the first shot on a clean barrel was the lower right shot..
this was 75 yards

shot three was right with shot two so I decided that was good enough

so I decided to do a little fun shooting, shooting at the axe( 25 yards ) ,flour filled balloons (100 yards) etc.

well one of the kids with me had a little rubber ball

He wanted to see if I could shoot it. So of course I agreed. I taped it to the target

I was really amazed at the result.

this confirmed my suspicion that rubber balls are dangerous.

after that I shot at the axe a little longer then switched guns and shot my gong at 400 and 500 yards for the rest of the day

All in all it was a fun day
