In post 54, the poster hinted/implied/suggested/etc. that Western might be CYA. C........ cover............ Y..... your............. A as$.

It might mean that Western is telling you and/or others, to clean the rifle immediately after shooting, so they don't get blamed for a corroded rifle barrel.
