I recently purchased an RNT Original acrylic duck call. When I blow into it it is too high pitched. Sounds terrible. When my buddy uses it it sounds great. He uses a lot more air pressure than I do. Question is should I work on more air pressure or try trimming the reed? For what it is worth in the past I have used the relatively cheap wood calls with reasonable success.
