You've received differing "opinions" on the pistol with some good feedback. It may or may not become a "go-to" pistol for you to carry CCW--that's always an individual preference kind of thing. The fact that it doesn't cost you anything to keep yet maintains memories of your dad is priceless!. Enjoy the memories and shoot a few rounds every now and then in his memory!
