Thanks for the input fella' s !!! It is EXACTLY !!!! What I was hoping I would get

I am exactly looking for a good working utility rifle that has a bit more power than my 30.06 but not so much that I can' t or don' want to shoot it.Also I am always trying to be careful not to ding up my Model 70 wood stock.
The synthetic stock may not be pretty....But I don' t think the Elk are giving fashion awards[8D]
