Problem is I can't find any for my .58. I can carry the premeasured powder in a tube. I am contemplating making one of those loading boards that hold a patched ball. Nothing big, like maybe 3 balls and a lanyard hole for around the neck.
How big would I make the hole to securely hold a .575" ball with a .020" patch without damaging the patch? The total diameter of that combo is .615". I'm thinking 9/16" would be too tight and 5/8" is too loose and I ain't never seen a 19/32" bit. Should I use a 9/16" and sand it to fit? Inquiring minds want to know.
