Glad it worked out for you... been there and done that. Took one through the hams with my .45 Hawken flinter about ten years ago or so and while she didn't go right down, she only went about sixty yards due to massive hemorrhaging from her femoral arteries. She came by me at a pretty good gait and when I got on her I also got on that very lightly set trigger before I had my lead right...

It's probably happened to more of us than are willing to admit.
