Its about time. Remingtons quality has greatly decreased since "Freedom Group" took over. I pretty well wont buy a Remington Rifle anymore. Same way with Marlin, or "Remlin" now. Any Marlin post 2007 I wont touch. This may not be true, but Ive always heard that the man who came up with the original Model 700 plans knew that the misfire was gonna be a problem. He came to Remington with it, But they wouldnt spend the extra 10 cents to manufacture it properly...

I have always been Marlin loyal. but I wont buy a new one. Remington is becoming a joke in my opinion. Its sad, but its true.
