In Pa we have antler restrictions on our bucks. In the area I hunt, it must have three points on top of one side. So you must look at what you shoot before you shoot. It takes a little time but no biggie, I like to identify what I'm shooting before I shoot it.
I took a 1/2 day of work on Friday and around 3:00 this little 8 point came by. I could of shot him in bow season a few times, but chose not to. He would of been a nice one in a couple years but I whacked him anyway.
The Buck was coming toward me then turned and headed away. My bullet went in in front of the right rear leg, and exited out the front left shoulder. He ran 20 steps and ran right into a tree and was dead.
If you look at the first picture close. The lower right hole is we're a petal came out. It's amazing how well this bullet works. When I first seen that I was afraid the petal punctured the guts but it did not.
