Congrats on rifle and scope. Tasco's are great and should serve you well.
I have an older Stevens bolt action .30-30 that has a Williams peep sight on it. This is my "still hunting in falling snow" rifle. It is really nice to not have to worry about keeping the snow off the lenses of a scope, and shots will typically be fairly close, and sometimes fast.
The Leverrevolution 160 grains Hornady's are extremely accurate out of the above rifle, and likely will work well in your rifle.
