its about can the average guy pick up his gun and go within 10 minutes or so to public hunting
thats what is important to me, both of our states have that luxury. i wouldn't live somewhere without easy hunting access
alot my family live in pa and i know quite a bit about their extensive game lands, in my opinion PA is one of the best states in the country for hunting because there is good hunting everywhere that is open to everyone.
you cant compare acerage between pa and md because we are much smaller of a state. but there is good oprrotunity in every county here. potomac-garrett state forest where i hunt is around 26,000 acres. pretty impressive for marylands size.
