OK, Omega45,
If you want me to get technical about it, my wife and I each get a buck tag that's good statewide when we buy our general hunting license. Since the county we live in has been broken into three management units as far as doe licenses are concerned...3A, 3B, & 3C. We send for a tag for 3A for each of us because that's where we live and then send for a tag for 3C for each of us because that management unit's border is less than 500 yds. from where we live. I used to send for an additional tag for 3B for each of us because we have friends that we hunted with that owned property in that unit.
So... let's do the math. A buck tag for each= two tags, a 3A tag for each= two tags, a 3C tag for each = two tags, a 3B tag for each = two tags. HMMMM... let's see now, that's 2+2+2+2=EIGHT!!! Correct?
I no longer buy tags for 3B because our friends have moved and although there are other properties we COULD hunt in that unit, we don't have the time so we're back to six tags.
Did that clear anything up for you?
