Smoke1, What I hear and what are read are two different things. Most of the bow hunters at work I' ve talked to seem to think things just really got going about 2 weeks ago and should still be going strong for the opener. According to the WI DNR home page, the rut will be done by the time the season starts.[:' (] Then again, the DNR doesn' t always have its act together.
