After the bucks drop them---Just trying to make an obvious funny!!! Most people look for sheds early in the Spring so they are not weathered or rodent gnawed. Most of south Texas is referred to as the brush country and I can't remember ever finding a shed down there over the many years I hunted several ranches because it's so thick.
