Got my first blackpowder deer last night just before dark. Made a good shot at 50 yards but the deer crossed over onto private property so i had to back out and get permission to continue tracking. Land owner was very nice and told me i could access and recover. Crossed over at first light and found it right away but not before the critters of the night. One hind quarter completely gone. Need to clean my gun now I guess.
