And I've been doing this for 15 years.
I hunt the top of a mountain, and I know many other guys hunt from the bottom of the same mountain.
I walked in to my spot, (about 1 hour later than usual) and the wind was behind me. I walk in from the top, heading down hill about 1/3 mile down. All while the wind was at my back.
As I walk deeper and deeper in, down hill, I keep hearing gun shots from the bottom.
Yep, my scent pushed every deer down hill, and it sounded like a war zone. At least 20 shots.
So the area is shot out for the season....... Time to hunt somewhere else...........................
At least I put food on someone else's table.
