Those Last Few Days Before the Season Opens
Those last few days before the season opens can be maddening. I don't want to go scout and mess up my weekend hunt, I've read everything online at least twice, my gun is sighted in and ready for the big day, my gear is collected and arranged, and all the critters I can't shoot until later in the week are congregated in my back yard, sticking their tongues out and blowing raspberries at me.
I swear I ought to take up archery. Then again, I suppose it would just make the same thing happen a month earlier.
What do you do to cope?
