I think a lot of it is just that commercialization expands the amount/type of people that "hunt" the cultures that hunted before it was cool still have plenty of skill. They may be selling that skill to the highest bidder now days but skill is not gone.
Exposure to people that wouldn't otherwise be exposed to hunting.
ditto.. I know several folks who just can't hunt all that much due to work schedules or whatever, these guys will often book a one week hunt with an outfitter and that is the only time they get to hunt all season..
