Howdy,

I downed this buck Opening Morning at about 7:30 AM. I seen him chasin a Doe about 7:00, He ran her around for a while and it looked like he ran on to the neighbors. I got to watchin some other Does and had forgot about him.

Then there about 7:30 he worked his way back my direction, He was smellin my wicks, and I'd been bleating as well. I watched him for at least 10 minutes before he gave me a shot. Once he got through the brush he turned straight to me. 1 shot at the base of the neck with my Glenfield 30-30 dropped him in his tracks.

He weighed over 200 pounds, And scored 129 6/8.
Not bad for a 7 point!

I suspect he could have been close to 6 years old.
