Yes, I rarely bought the best of the best. It's getting colder where I am, and I saved an idea from years ago.
Our insulated underwear then, was made of COTTON. We kept warm in minus zero weather by wearing old and older wool sweaters.
I just pulled out an old pair of wool pants. That was used for insulated coverings. Old wool sweater, old wool pants, under a parka. Might even pull out the old hunting mittens for days in the outdoors this week. The neighbors seem to retire here once it gets below forty degrees. Lots of those days coming up.
All set, before I get some better second generation insulated clothing .
