Great info guys. I have settled on the Hornady LE 325. Just ofr FYI I am in Ohio and they recently changed the laws to allow straight walled rifle cartridges only, no bottle necked ammo. I have always wanted a 45-70 to play with so it gave me a great excuse to get one.
I also don't think recoil will be a factor, I am a big guy, 6'3 and 285 pounds. I currently also shoot a 7mm Rem Mag (loaded hot cause the gun likes it).
