Sorry for the poor quality of these photos. Buck was taken in a very remote location, field dressed at night, quartered, and wheeled out by deer cart over a mile through CRP grass. This is permitted in the state I shot my buck. My photo clearly includes the tag. I see a lot of people entering illegal photos in this contest. Every Midwest state I know require deer to be tagged immediately and for that tag to remain affixed until arrival at the processor. At the public land I hunted, I watched 4 lazy hunters break the rules and drive their trucks as far as a MILE beyond the parking area to load their deer. Took me 8 hours, 7 PM to 3 AM, but I got him all out legally and by myself. Got tired of lazy hunters putting one fixed position stand on public and proclaiming all the land within 300 yards of it as their personal property. So now I only go deep with my climber. Hampered by healing pinched nerve disabling right arm, and heart surgery 10/21, but got it done while the cheaters drove past the gates. Calf cramps sucked, but worth it knowing I did it the right way.
