Different bullets like different jags. A simple cleaning jag will work for roundball. But one I find real handy is the knurled hollow jag used for Shockwaves.

It will load a large number of projectiles and still hold a patch for swabbing. I out one on my short starter and one on my range rod for most... not all, bullets.
