30-30 is a good deer round. My first deer rifle was a Winchester Model 94 in 30-30. My dad bought reloads from a guy he worked with 150gr. silvertips. Has been about 14 years since I hunted with it.



I bought this Model 94 in 32 special when my eyes got so bad the iron sights were impossiable for me. The peep sight is great.
