My son started with a selfbow when he was 2. He's 19 now, hasn't been interested in much other than girls and trucks the last few years, but he shot up until a year or so ago. I think he will get back into it...he has mentioned getting a new bow and hunting with it. We'll see...
Funny; I went through the same thing with my boys. They are all married up with children and back shooting and hunting again. Must be something in the water.
