NFAA 2014 outdoor Field Nationals, photo recap
After 58 years in Archery/Bowhunting I competed in my 1st National Tournament. After a 30 year layoff from target/field tournaments I started back in 2012. I shot state shoots in 2012-yes shot.. In 2013 I managed to win my Master Senior Div. Bowhunter state field championship. This year I squeaked a 2nd in State Target & 3rd in State field. I had a personal goal score wise I wanted to meet at the 5 days of shooting the Nationals in Yankton S.D.. I did do that & had a pleasant surprise at the end of 5 days & nearly 500 arrows. I made the podium & 2nd place.. It was an awesome event & I met/shot/competed with some great archers OVER the age of 70. I shot with archers from Neb., Wa., @ from different areas of S.D., Mn., Ill.. All 50 states were represented & 17 countries. All I can say is, it was AWESOME
