Can't believe how accurate mine is that is. My friend wanted to shoot his '06 today so I packed my Accura V2 and went along. After he got his new scope adjusted and sighted in I swabbed the bore with an alcohol patch and dry patch. Loaded it up with 100 gr of Pyro RS and 300 gr XTP with green Harvester CR sabot. Put in a W-W 209 primer and centered the Leupold Ultimate Slam scope on the 2" orange dot at 100 yards. When the smoke cleared there was an nice hole right at 12 O'clock of the dot. Swabbed the bore loaded and the second shot in the orange at 8 O'clock. Two more shots put the bullets one dead center and one just off the orange at 9 O'clock. Shooting approximately a 1 1/4" group I was starting to feel pretty smug because I haven't shot this rifle for over a year. But shot #5 hit about 1" right and 3" above the dot. The hold was good. Maybe the barrel started to heat up a bit not sure. But there always has to be that one flyer to ruin a nice group. But I was sure happy that my first shot on a squeaky clean bore hit perfect.
