Got to do a little more walking and discovered a couple of travel routes.
One in particular is really promising: There's a 150 yard strip of woods that has a pond dam one side and some very lush grass on the other. The deer are using them as feeding areas.
What's really got my attention: A creek bisects the woods and the deer are getting funneled along a high bank as they make there. Seriously heavy deer traffic along it, as it's simply too steep for them to ascend.
